FIRST GRADE.- WEEK 1

  • Monday March 23rd.


TOPIC: We are going to start our activities for this week: talking about past habits, imaginary situations and scientific discoveries.

ACTIVITIES:     a) Write about pictures ( p. 74 student’s book)
                         b) Answer : why are the things important in Ex. 1
                         c) Check video you tube “ Nasa science live: A world of fires”
                         d) Read the blog: Why aren’t people more interested in science?
                         e) Answer activities 4, 5, 6 student´s book page 74.

ACTIVITIES:      a) Choose the sentence that you think best says what the blog is about ( p75).
                          b) Writing: How do these things help us every day? ( internet, telephone,
                                              medicine, the fridge)
                          c) Grammar: simple past vs past continuous ( review ).

                          c) Complete exercises 2 and functions : talking about past habits  p.77 student’s
                              book.
SECOND CLASS

a)      Writing: Write about something that doesn’t exist yet but that you would like
to have or to see! Start your writing with a phrase like this:
 Ex. I would like to have a motorcycle that can also fly…
b)      Read the forum p. 78 and answer ex. 2,3,4.
c)      Train to think p.78 ex. 1,2,3

ACTIVITIES:      a) Grammar: Review of zero and first conditional
