                                                          Future.

                                          b) Discuss : What was Pauline´s bad decision, according to the writer?

                                          c) Find sentences in the story with these meanings.

                                              How are the underlined phrases expressed in the story?

                                              Answer the ex. 1-4 p. 117 as homework in your notebook.

 

THURSDAY 4TH             a) Reading: “Learning from experience”.

                                       b) Answer ex. 3 p. 117

                                       c) Writing: Think of a ( true or invented) story about a bad decision. Write

                                           your story ( 200 words). Guide you with the clues p. 117 ex. 4; it is going

                                           to be done as homework. Send to my e-mail.

FRIDAY 5TH                   a) Virtual classroom: Reading and use of English , Part 6: Gapped text.

                                       b) Some sentences have been removed from the text and we have to order

                                            them ( A-G)

                                       c) We are going to check the context of the reading because just one

                                           sentence is extra. Guess what is it?

                                       d) Homework: Workbook p. 100, 101, 102 and 103.

                                                 b) Watch a video about these species.

                                                 c) Reading: “A friend to native people, Candido Rondon”

                                                 d) Review of Passive voice in all tenses.

                                              tenses.

MONDAY MAY 25TH           a) Virtual classroom: Passive voice simple present, past and future.

                                                b) Written and oral practice ( notebook )

                                                c) homework : To change the next sentences from active to passive:

                                                    -She bakes a cake.

                                                    -Rose and Susan will clean the house.

                                                    -A thieve stole the store.

                                                    -You swept the house.

                                                    -My mother sang a song.

                                           c) Speaking: Practice describing the next jobs: teacher , actor, musician,

                                               pilot, sales assistant, taxi driver. (page 87 student´s book)

                                           d) Homework: workbook p.83

FRIDAY MAY 29TH           a) Writing: About your dream job (  70 -80 words).

                                          b) Think about possible jobs and the characteristics connected to them.

                                               Ex.  Musician: good listening, good voice, be handsome or pretty, etc.

                                               ( at least 10 jobs).

                                          c) Homework: Think in something related to:

                                               telephones, books, school and devices to work.

                                             Note: if your consider it´s necessary to write about them, do it.

 

Resources: Notebook, ask to your parents about the characteristics for different jobs.


SECOND GRADE.- WEEK 8

Hi student´s! Waiting for a better attitude ,  you have to work in all your subjects! I know you are excellent student´s! Go ahead! Our work for this week from MAY 25TH TO MAY 29TH  IS THE NEXT:

 

ACTIVITIES:              

 

MONDAY MAY 25TH       a) Virtual classroom: Talk and write about experiences they remember

                                               (ex. The first time they went to school).

                                           b) Share an experience in the virtual classroom.

                                           c) Read the article quickly in page 111 and circle the correct word

                                               (happy or unhappy )

                                           d) homework: Ask to their parents a funny thing of them of their

                                                                     childhood to share in the next class in written and

                                                                     speaking practice.

TUESDAY MAY 26TH         a) Read the article p.111 again and answer the questions from 1 to 8

                                                in your notebook.

                                            b) Search for the meanings of the next words: blow, out, make up,

                                                 looking into, stand out, figure out, look forward to. Write the words

                                                 and their meanings in your notebook.

27TH                                   a) Virtual classroom: Train to think ( Logical conclusions ) p.110

 

                                         b) Pay attention to conclusions in a text. Look at the ideas and arguments

                                             carefully. Do they lead logically to the conclusion?

                                         c) Ex 5 student´s book.

                                         d) Speaking: What their first memory?

                                                                Is it of a nice moment or a stressful event?

                                                                Is doing research on memory important and useful?

                                                                Why (not)? Who might use this information and how?

                                           possible orders, write both.

                                       d) homework: Complete the questions with the correct forms of the

                                           phrasal verbs to discuss the next class. Page 112 students book ex.3

                                                      Visited.

                                                 b) Writing about this strange place, if they don´t they have to invent

                                                      one.

                                                 c) homework: Search about two of different strange places. Ex. The

                                                     lost city of Atlantis, The Nazca lines, Stonehenge, Easter Island,etc.

 

TUESDAY MAY 26TH             a) Watch a video about strange places in the world! Whatever they

                                                     want; a suggestion could be in:

                                                b) Prepare a short exposition about one of these strange places.

                                                c) homework: Study for your exposition on Wednesday!
