SECOND GRADE.- WEEK 10

Hi student´s welcome to this week of working from JUNE 8TH TO JUNE 12TH . I hope you are ok working on time and being in your virtual classroom it’s very important to get a good grade! Our objectives for this week are the next:   OBJECTIVES:                           a) Grammar: I wish/ if only + past perfect.                                                  b) Speaking: Expressing regrets.                                                  c) Vocabulary: Nervousness and fear.                                                  d) Reading: Science fiction ( They have to choose a story).   ACTIVITIES:   MONDAY JUNE 8TH           a) Virtual classroom.- Complete the sentences from page 114 Ex.1                                                b) Explain the grammar rule to express regrets p. 115 student´s book.                                                 c) Make sentences in their notebooks with I wish or If only… Ex 2                                                      student´s book.                                                d) Homework: Think of three things you have done recently that you                                                                            now regret.   Resources: Computer, virtual classroom, student´s book.   TUESDAY JUNE 9TH               a) Workbook pages 108, 109, 110.   Resources : Workbook.   WEDNESDAY JUNE 10TH                                               a) Virtual classroom: Put the lines in order to make a conversation,                                                    Ex 1 page 115 student´s book.                                          b) Discuss their regrets from ex. 3. Make suggestions about.                                           c) Give them examples for working:- I wish I´d bought a present for my                                                     brother´s birthday.    –Well , buy one now-it isn´t too late!                                          d) Writing about: “My first and my last time” ( as homework )   Resources: Computer, virtual classroom, student´s book.   THURSDAY JUNE 11TH        a) Vocabulary: Nervousness and fear: terrified, biting my nails,                                                 Sweating, panicked, mouth went dry, breathe hard, tremble, shaking                                                b) Search the meanings in: wordreference.com                                              c) Homework: Write about two different situations that you have lived                                                    before using the vocabulary as reference.   Resources: Student´s book, internet page, notebook.   FRIDAY JUNE 12TH               a) Virtual classroom: Talk about fears in pictures page 115 Speaking                                                     Part.                                                b) Talk about another particular fears for them.                                                c) Make sentences about their fears or in their families example:                                                    My uncle is afraid of heights. He starts to sweat, even if it is just a                                                    movie.
