Hi student´s ! How are you? I want to tell you thank you for your patient and attention! We  are going to continue working this week from MAY 18TH TO MAY 22ND with the virtual classroom and your blog. Go ahead!   OBJECTIVES:                           a) Reading: “The great scape” p. 108 student´s book.                                                     b) Talk about stories of people who have shown an amazing                                                          ability to survive.                                                     c) Oral practice discussing some questions about p. 108 student´s                                                          book.                                                     d) Writing about a rescue.   ACTIVITIES:                      MONDAY MAY 18TH              a) Virtual Classroom: What do they think about the men escaped                                                          From? P. 108 student´s book.                                                     b) Read the article “The great scape” and write what the ragraphs                                                          refer to?   Resources: Computer, virtual classroom, notebook, student´s book.   TUESDAY MAY 19TH             a) Write about the reading done on Monday and answer:                                                       -What do you think the people did while they were waiting to be                                                        rescued?                                                      -These people had accidents at work. Do you think people should                                                        be rescued when they are doing dangerous things for pleasure,                                                        for example, climbing mountains? Why or why not?                                                     b) Search the meanings of these words : miracles, safety record,                                                          drill, wreck, sunk, air pocket, tragedy. You can find them in:                                                          wordreference.com   Resources: Student´s book, notebook, internet page: word reference.   WEDNESDAY MAY 20TH       a) Virtual classroom: Check the meanings of the words given.                                                      b) Solve the ex. 5 in page 109.                                                      c) Talk about their stories about a rescue.                                                      d) homework : Writing about a story about a rescue (200 words),                                                           thinking about;                                                        -who was involved in the accident and the rescue.                                                        -any special words that you will need to talk about the accident.                                                        -how to organize the information into paragraphs.                                                        -how to make the story dramatic.   Resources: Computer, virtual classroom, student´s and notebook.   THURSDAY MAY 21ST             a) Workbook pages: 100, 101,102                                                        b) Workbook pages: 103 and 104.   Resources: Workbook.   FRIDAY MAY 22ND          a) Virtual Classroom: Solve the last exercise of unit 11 in brown color                                                          p.109.                                              b) Talk about some experiences when they were smaller of age.                                              c) Talk about their fears.                                              d) homework: Writing about their experiences and fears.   Resources: Computer, virtual classroom, notebook.
